Our fave teen nightwear for winter 2018
My teens change into their comfy pyjamas as soon as they walk in the door, especially in the winter. Now the days are getting shorter and the nights are getting colder, cosy clothes are an absolute favourite gift – from slippers, bed socks, pyjamas and nighties, to onesies, throws and dressing gowns – we have picked out our favourites.
1. Velvet Pom Pom Slippers
We absolutely love these Boden Pom Pom Slippers (Lynne has their 2018 version). They come in four gorgeous colour combinations and in sizes 36 to 42. Cosy as well as pretty!
2. All-in-one pyjamas for teens
We love all-in-one pyjamas but we have found that they are often made for younger children only. Unusually these cosy Boden all-in-one PJ’s go right from age 6 up to age 16 years (which would fit smaller older teens too), so they are a real find.
3. Oversized alphabet t-shirt nightie
A soft, lightweight cotton nightie, printed with a gorgeous bold initial. My teens love a gift that has been personalised as it feels extra special.
4. Silk alpaca bed socks
We absolutely love these silk alpaca bed socks. They make an adorable present to keep toes snug on winter evenings. The thick wool socks are made in Great Britain using natural Alpaca wool and knitted in a family run business. Lovely, stylish gift.
5. Anklet Pom Pom Bed Socks
These are super soft and super cute. You get two pairs of Elle Cable Cosy Anklet Socks in the set, with pretty Pom Poms attached to the back.
6. Monster Wrap-around
A gorgeous fleecy blanket with a fluffy hood and mittens. Just love it and can’t think of many tweens and teens who wouldn’t want to snuggle under this Monster Wrap-Around and watch Netflix this winter!
7. Gingham Pyjamas in a Bag Set
Gingham is so pretty! What a cute little gift for a teenager (well, any age really). The Shorties in a Bag Set come in this sweet gingham bag and all for £15. There are several really pretty patterns to choose from.
8. Short Hooded Teddy Bear Dressing Gown
Warm, super soft and snuggly faux fur hooded dressing-gown for duvet days. Love the length, the fluffiness and the teddy ears!
9. Snug Rug!
Are your teens constantly complaining of the cold? Mine are and so we have a lot of snug rugs on the sofa to keep them happy and save on the heating! This is a warm, basic snug rug for only £16 and comes in many lovely colours. They look good too!
10. Velvety Electric Heated Throw
I’ve heard of the electric heated blanket but I didn’t know about the electric heated throw. This one is from Lakeland and costs 1p to run for seven hours. It is machine washable and can be set to switch off at a certain time. Love it and I don’t think there is a teenager alive who could complain about being cold if they owned one of these!
11. Family Elf Pyjamas
**The Little Elf pyjamas go up to an adult size so perfect for any age ‘child’**
Just had to add these, because wow – who wouldn’t want these Family Elf Pyjamas.
We love this idea and family pyjama sets seem to be very popular this Christmas. A matching pair for every member of the family – Mums, Dads and Little Elves to choose from – whatever your own family of elves includes. The Little Elf pyjamas go from 6-12 months, through all the ages up to an adult size, so a brilliant opportunity to embarrass the teens.
