Teenagers Who Love To Cook
Cooking is cool again! With the extensive media coverage top chefs such as Jamie Oliver receive alongside the huge success of TV series like The Great British Bake Off, many teenagers are being inspired to put on a pinny and to find their own way around the kitchen. Saf and I have been lucky enough to support teenagers who love to cook at a secondary school. These students were passionate and talented cooks, many of who went on to take Food Technology at GCSE level. As someone who loves to eat, but who really does not enjoy the cooking part, I was always extremely impressed by the enthusiasm and creativity these children displayed.
So, whether you know a teenager who likes to cook for the sheer pleasure of it, or whether the teens in your life have dreams of being the next Nigella, we have researched on your behalf the best gifts out there to support and encourage your young person’s culinary skills and their love of everything ‘cuisine’.
